Preparing your experience

Triple Bay, AMAALA

Triple Bay lies on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, in a region of mountains, warm sand beaches, coral reefs, and the clear blue of the Red Sea. A Marina Village holds the northern end of AMAALA; a walking route leads south to the quieter wellness core, where Jayasom sits at the edge of the sea facing a serene cove. The light, the salt air, the temperature swing between day and evening; each playing a part in how the body settles.

The Property

Wellness villas sit between the cove and the Wellness Plateau, alongside twenty-four on site residences. Our buildings sit low against the mountains behind and are faced in materials that echo the landscape they came from. Two sides shape your stay - JAYANA • ADULTS for adults at the southern end, JAYELA • FAMILIES for families to the north, with the Health and Wellness Centre threading between them.

One destination, two experiences

JAYANA • ADULTS and JAYELA • FAMILIES

Jayasom carries two parts in its name: Jay is heart, and Asom - Sanskrit for ashram - is a place of peaceful learning. At AMAALA, that meaning opens into two named sides, each with its own character.

JAYANA • ADULTS

Jay and Ana, the Arabic for ‘me’ holds the adult experience: its own reception, a library, a tea lounge, restaurants paced for slower evenings, lap pools and hydrothermal suites reserved for adults only. It is the side for the person who needs the return to themselves.

JAYELA • FAMILIES

Jay and Ayela, the Arabic for family holds four children’s studios named Seed, Sprout, STEM and Blossom, family pools, a Beach Hut, and dining that brings every age to the same table. It is for the family that wants to be together in the fullest sense.

The Spa

Treatment rooms open onto private gardens. Hydrotherapy, sound healing, breathwork and movement studios sit alongside clinical-medical assessment rooms. Sound and light are worked into the architecture, so care stays in the foreground.

Care, threaded between the two sides

The Health & Wellness Centre

The Centre threads between the two sides of the property, with its own entrance for each. We house sixteen consultation rooms, seventy-six treatment rooms, a herbal pharmacy, hydrothermal suites, a fitness and physiotherapy suite, a family wellness wing - but none of it performs. The care here is quiet and it is thorough.

What holds the practice

At Jayasom, the practice draws from Traditional Arabic Medicine, refined across generations of healers and herbalists. Three pillars hold everything: Wellness Wisdom®, Sustainability Pledge, and Walk the Talk. Your Wellness Advisor reads where your body is on arrival; your stay is built from there.

Cold and warm pools, contrast circuits, mineral baths and Watsu sit at the lower terrace. Sessions are paired with breath and movement work; the order shifts to suit you.

A Sanctuary for the Senses

Designed to heal through architecture and sound. Buildings frame the cove and the rising slope; quiet hours are kept; rooms feel quietly held rather than brandPhilosophy of Nourishment ed.

Philosophy of Nourishment

Eight venues, one shared discipline: no alcohol, no deep frying, fourteen approved cooking methods. Water is bottled on site. Every kitchen at Jayasom is set up the same way - to restore, not to perform.

Wellness held with discretion; care that does not need to perform.

Nature-Framed Living

Named gardens thread the property: the Colour Garden arranges the chakra spectrum into a walkable path; the Stonecrop Maze on the Wellness Plateau is paced as a meditative walk, with the mountains of the region visible from the high ground; the Yasmeen Night Garden opens to jasmine at dusk, lighting kept low for the night sky. The Farm Belt feeds the kitchens before anything is sourced elsewhere.

Restaurants

Eight venues across the property. Saratô, Jiraka and Shay Waard on the adult side. Loumi Rue, Chez Mitzuba and Breezy Kale on the family side. Chia Bite and Nakeha Studio at the Health and Wellness Centre, shared by all.

How the kitchens think

Ingredients read first, then the plate. No alcohol, no deep frying. We source ingredients grown on site for our menus, before looking to the land beyond.

The brochure carries the property plan, residence specifications, and the full retreat catalogue.

Triple Bay is the planned community at the heart of AMAALA. Thirty-seven numbered points across eleven branded neighbourhoods, spanning wellness destinations, residences, retail, dining, cultural venues and protected coastal habitat.

AMAALA is shaped to live alongside its setting. Nesting turtles use the cove that fronts Jayasom, we give them space through the season. The property bottles its own water on site, the Farm Belt holds raised growing beds partially shaded by climbing plants, the MOSO Hub is where sustainability is reported in the open.

AMAALA is a place where heritage and contemporary practice sit alongside each other. Traditional Arabic and Islamic Medicine in the treatment room. Ayurveda in the bodywork. Sport science in the recovery suite. A destination shaped to be neighbour to the culture, neighbour to the locals.
