Tibetan singing bowls
Primary instruments. Long tones that hold, short tones that pass through.
Preparing your experience
Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and toned voice carry the work. Guests lie still; the practitioner moves around the room. The body listens before the mind does, and the nervous system slows in response. The session lasts fifty minutes and sits within the wider practice at Jayasom.
A guided exposure to vibration. The practitioner works with calibrated singing bowls, gong, tuning forks, and toned voice, sometimes layered, sometimes singular. Guests lie supine on a mat or recline in a chair; nothing is asked of the body other than to receive.
Across a stay, the work is small and constant. Some guests come for sleep that holds; some for the quiet long tones leave behind; some for a nervous system that loosens its grip after weeks at speed.
Long tones that hold, short tones that pass through. The body settles before the mind does. Silence holds for a long beat after the last tone, then the hour closes.
"The body listens before the mind does."
The session draws on the Energy and Sound Therapeutic Pillar. The work is non-contact and non-verbal. Suitable for guests of all ages, including children when paired with a guardian.
