Overview
As a Leader
Leadership is not a single job. There is the work. There are the people. And there is the weight of being the one others look to when the pressure is highest. The pressure does not stop at the office door - it follows you into the morning call, the flight home, the moment between meetings when the brain should rest and doesn't.
We understand that most leaders do not need to be told they are running hard. They know. What they do not always know is how to stop - and what it actually costs when they don't.
As a Leader is built for what stepping away does not fix on its own. The week is specific, clinical, and honest about what sustained performance costs and what it takes to come back to the demands feeling genuinely different.
Featured Treatments
Eight treatments hold the As a Leader week, working across the nervous system, musculoskeletal load, and cognitive clarity.
Wellness Mentoring
A goal-oriented session integrating cognitive and behavioural methodology with HeartMath technique. For the patterns that high-performance load creates: decision fatigue, loss of clarity, the difficulty of genuinely stopping.
Shirodhara
The classic Ayurvedic mind-calm. Warm medicated oil in a continuous stream at the third-eye point. For the hour and a half when mental activity finally stops being useful. What settles here is often what the mentoring session surfaced.
Marma Point Therapy
Focused energy work at the junctions where matter and consciousness meet in Ayurvedic teaching. For the system that has been running hard and needs to be reset at something deeper than the surface.
Heart-Focused Breathing & Biofeedback
Heart-focused breathwork paired with biofeedback. The session reads heart-rate variability and uses the data to show the nervous system that a different mode is available. Most leaders find this the unexpected one.
Pinda Sweda
For the musculoskeletal cost of sustained high output. Warm linen bags filled with medicinal herbs and rice, worked across the body. Particularly for leaders carrying chronic shoulder, neck, and upper-back load that has become so familiar it reads as normal.
Pranayama
Controlled breathing that slows the heart rate and settles the nervous system into the kind of spacious mental quiet that decision fatigue closes off. Brief, quiet, and more effective than the schedule usually allows for.
Watsu, Aquatic Therapy
Passive water therapy in a warm pool. The body is moved through stretches and mobilisations it could not access on dry land. Particularly relevant for the chronic tension that accumulates in the shoulders, neck, and lower back under sustained performance load.
Deep Tissue Massage
Targeted bodywork that works into scar tissue and fibrous connective tissue to improve blood flow and reduce chronic pain. Three sessions across a stay provide the structural shift that a single session cannot.
Methodology
Wellness Wisdom® is the pillar. Ground Wellbeing is the treatment practice it runs through. Traditional Arabic Medicine (TAIM) sits underneath both. The TAIM consultation reads pulse, tongue, and medical history on day one, and the clinical brief is built from there. Diagnostics include blood-pressure monitoring, HRV biofeedback, and the data from the Heart-Focused Breathing session.

Signature consultation
Wellness Mentoring, Leadership
The Wellness Mentoring Consultation, Leadership variant is the named hero of the As a Leader tier. Sixty minutes. The session integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and HeartMath, applied to the questions leaders carry into the room. Decision rhythm sits at the centre, with mentoring quality and the discipline of clarity under pressure shaping the conversation around it.
Frequency across the stay is set by the Wellness Advisor during the pre-arrival call. The session runs once at the four-night Explore tier; twice at ten nights; three times at fourteen nights as a recurring conversation that shapes the programme.
The setting
The Setting at AMAALA
Jayasom AMAALA sits on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, within the Triple Bay master plan being developed by Red Sea Global. The architecture is drawn to recede in the right places. Buildings sit low against the coastline; sea breeze moves before mechanical cooling; materials are local where the climate allows them.
For As a Pair guests, the relevant zone is Jayana, the adults retreat area at the southern end of Triple Bay. Three couples-relevant points of the property thread through the stay.
The Yasmeen Night Garden takes its name from the jasmine that opens only after dark. The garden sits at the foot of the Wellness Plateau and is reached through a moon gate, where reclining loungers angle towards the night sky and the path of the moon. Lighting in the area is reduced for celestial observation; bushes planted nearby enrich the air with evening fragrance.
The standard accommodation is the Jayana Pavilion King: balcony, lounge chairs, plunge pool, Coco-mat™ natural mattress (latex, coconut fibre, horse hair, cactus fibre, seaweed, knitted cotton), Oud-custom amenities. A Superior Deluxe Suite is available with both indoor and outdoor shower and bathtub. Each room is set up around the partners' stated preferences. Sixty villas plus twenty-four private residences hold the property; phase one is a small property by destination-resort scale, and the daily wellness rhythm is sized to the cohort, not to the building.
Three named tracks
Programme by Leadership Phase
The programme adjusts to the cycle you arrive in. Three named tracks hold the structure; your Wellness Advisor selects the right combination at the pre-arrival conversation.
Executive Recovery
For leaders carrying accumulated fatigue - post-campaign, post-exit, post-restructure. The work centres on sleep restoration, nervous-system regulation, and deep physical recovery. Shirodhara and Pranayama anchor this track.
Clarity
For leaders arriving in a period of high decision load or transition. The Wellness Mentoring Consultation anchors this track, alongside Heart-Focused Breathing and Biofeedback. The work is oriented around cognitive function and decision fatigue release.
Performance Optimisation
For leaders already operating well and wanting to sustain what they have built. Pinda Sweda, Deep Tissue Massage, and Personal Training anchor this track. The work addresses the physical cost of high output before it becomes a limiting factor.
STAY STRUCTURE
Tier ladder
Stay length shapes the depth of the work. Four tiers: four nights to Explore, seven nights to Absorb, ten nights to Immerse, fourteen nights to Commit. Treatment counts: eleven across four nights, eighteen across seven, twenty-five across ten, thirty-five across fourteen. The Wellness Mentoring Consultation runs once at four and seven nights, twice at ten, three times at fourteen.

Programme inclusions
What's Included
The Neuro Nourish Healing Menu rotates through the days for guests on the leadership track - nourishment calibrated to cognitive clarity and anti-inflammatory support. Hydrothermal circuit access is included throughout.
Departure framing
On the closing morning, your Wellness Advisor writes the one-page brief - two breath protocols, the decision-rhythm practice that worked across the stay, the sleep tool calibrated to the home environment. The work does not end at checkout. It continues as you return to the demands that sent you here.
In residence
Practitioners in Residence
Resident-clinicians hold the medical and clinical layer of the programme. Hormonal and clinical assessments run on day one and revisit at the closing conversation. Diagnostics available include blood-panel testing, food-intolerance testing, and Heart-Focused Breathing and Biofeedback (the heart-rate variability protocol that informs nervous-system pacing across the stay).
Three named consultation pathways sit alongside the standard assessment: Traditional Arabic and Islamic Medicine; Naturopathic; and Ayurvedic. Each pathway is matched to where you are and the questions you arrive carrying.
The Wellness Advisor holds the programme across the consultation team, from pre-arrival through to closing. Visiting Practitioners rotate in season for specialist tracks. Recent rotations have included integrative therapists and executive coaches; the roster shifts seasonally and the current cohort is shared at the pre-arrival call.
Hands-on therapists run the bodywork tracks.
Wellness Residences pathway
Beyond the retreat tiers
For leaders wanting their own kitchen, additional bedrooms, or longer cycles than the wellness destination tiers hold, the Residences offering is available. Twenty-four private residences sit alongside Jayasom AMAALA, in two-, three-, and four-bedroom configurations. The wellness rhythm is the same; the privacy depth is greater.
The Residences pathway suits team-based bookings, where a C-suite group books across rooms and the Wellness Advisor coordinates the programme across the cohort. Family bookings on Leader stays are handled through coordinated As a Family programming for partners and children.
