Feels like sisterhood, empowerment, balance and confidence
As a Woman
Feels like sisterhood, empowerment, balance and confidence
Women arrive here at different stages and in different seasons.
Some come because something in the body shifted — the sleep, the energy, a cycle that started asking different things. Some come still carrying the physical weight of pregnancy or new motherhood, the kind of exhaustion that doesn't lift on its own. Others come simply because a life that gave a great deal has left a gap where something used to be.
Overview
As a WOMAN
Women arrive here at different stages and in different seasons.
Some come because something in the body shifted — the sleep, the energy, a cycle that started asking different things. Some come still carrying the physical weight of pregnancy or new motherhood, the kind of exhaustion that doesn't lift on its own. Others come simply because a life that gave a great deal has left a gap where something used to be.
What they tend to share is the same thing: a body that has been patient for long enough, and time that finally belongs to it.
As a Woman is where it gets its own answer.

Featured treatments
Eight rituals for the work
Eight treatments hold the centre of the week. Each is placed by the Wellness Advisor against what the assessment surfaces on day one. Some return across the stay. Others land once.
The Balancing Ritual
Aromatherapy foot baths, breathwork, Cold Stone Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage - in sequence, each one building on the last. For the physical cost of hormonal change. For the years the body absorbed without complaint.
Shirodhara
Warm medicated oil pours in a continuous stream over the third-eye point. For the mind that hasn't stopped. That plans, processes, and loops even at rest. Ninety minutes of the kind of stillness most women haven't felt in a long while.
NEW Mum, Blessing of Becoming
A new mother's body is extraordinary and exhausted - often both at once and rarely acknowledged as such. Gentle realignment, soothing of tired muscles, the emotional holding this stage asks for.
The Comforting Ritual (Pregnancy)
For the body carrying more than one life. Hands-on therapy releases the physical strains of pregnancy while creating a calm, safe space. The weight, the pressure, the fatigue of becoming - all of it held.
Marma Point Therapy
One hundred and seven points - the junctions where matter and consciousness meet in Ayurvedic teaching. For the energy that went somewhere and hasn't come back. A focused return.
Sound Healing Therapy
Singing bowls, gongs, chimes. The vibrations move through the body and the nervous system settles - properly, not temporarily. The kind of quiet that most women haven't sat in for a very long time.
Detoxifying Balneotherapy
Underwater jets paired with essential oils. Circulation, lymphatic flow, the body's own clearance pathways. Brief. Purposeful. Enough.
Watsu
Passive water therapy in a warm pool. The therapist holds, stretches, mobilises. For women who have been holding themselves together for too long, being held by the water is a different thing entirely.
The approach
A methodology anchored in regional heritage
Wellness Wisdom® is the pillar. The practice it runs through is Ground Wellbeing. Both lean on Traditional Arabic Medicine - Tibb. The TAIM consultation reads pulse, tongue, and medical history on day one. It shapes what the practitioner places across the stay. This is not a guess. It is a read.
Signature ritual
The Balancing Ritual
The Balancing Ritual is the named hero treatment of this retreat. Duration 90 minutes. Aromatherapy foot baths, breathwork, Cold Stone Therapy, and Lymphatic Drainage work in sequence to address the physical signature of hormonal change. The ritual is rooted in Ground Wellbeing practice, with breath and touch leading the work back into the body.
Frequency across the stay is set by the Wellness Advisor during the pre-arrival call.

The setting
A property sized for the practice
Jayasom AMAALA sits within the Triple Bay master plan on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast. The property holds sixty villas plus twenty-four private residences. Phase one is intentionally small by wellness destination scale; the daily rhythm is sized to the cohort, not to the building. Triple Bay is part of the AMAALA destination, a regional flagship for women's wellness in the Kingdom.
Yasmeen Night Garden runs in scent-only mode through the evening hours, designed for slow walking. Our Stonecrop Maze sits on the Wellness Plateau and is open through the late afternoon. The Phoenix Garden holds private daytime rest and Sound Healing Therapy runs at the Sonorium. Within the Jayana zone, the As a Woman programme operates with adult-side privacy and dedicated quiet hours.
CULTURAL FLUENCY
Privacy and respect, operationally
DAILY STANDARDS
Cultural Fluency runs through the property. Staff training covers Saudi etiquette and respectful discretion, with gender sensitivity built in across the day. Photography is at the guest's discretion. Private entrances and protected schedules are available where requested. Communications stay private through the booking flow; credit-card statements use a discreet entity name; family-shared accounts can be replaced with a private channel for the booking. Women-only therapist preferences are honoured, and women-only timetable blocks for movement and bodywork are scheduled daily during As a Woman cohorts.
Programme by life stage
Three named tracks
The programme adjusts to the season the body is in. Not the season on the calendar. Three named tracks hold the structure. Your Wellness Advisor selects the right combination at the pre-arrival conversation.
Track 01
Perimenopause and menopause
The body is changing the terms. The sleep, the temperature, the weight, the mood - all renegotiating at once, often without warning. The Balancing Ritual anchors the week. Traditional Arabic Medicine reads what the body is signalling. The work is to understand what is happening and address it properly.
Track 02
Postnatal and prenatal
A new mother's body is extraordinary and exhausted. An expectant mother's body is doing more than most people realise. Neither is spoken about honestly enough. The Blessing of Becoming and the Comforting Ritual both hold this understanding. Gentle work. No rush. No performance.
Track 03
General wellness and reset
The tiredness that blood tests don't explain. The low energy that became the baseline. The sense that something shifted and nobody caught it. The Wellness Advisor reads the assessment and structures the week around what the body most needs to set down.
STAY STRUCTURE
Stay length shapes the depth of the work
Stay length shapes the depth of the work. Four nights to Explore. Seven to Absorb. Ten to Immerse. Fourteen to Commit. Treatment counts: 10 / 18 / 26 / 35 across the four tiers. The Wellness Advisor confirms the right tier at pre-arrival. The longer the stay, the more the body can release.
Programme inclusions
What every retreat carries
The Hydrothermal facilities are accessible through the day, including infrared sauna for heat activation, vitality pools at varying temperatures, steam, and the flotation pool. Daily fitness and movement classes run from morning to evening; women-led classes are available where requested.
The Wellness Mentoring Consultation Women runs once at four-night Explore tier and twice at fourteen-night Commit. The Nutrition & Lifestyle Consultation runs once across every tier. Cooking classes at Nakeha Studio sit on the ten-night Immerse and fourteen-night Commit tiers, one per stay.
Day by day
A typical seven-night Absorb stay
Days build around the body's recovery curve. The structure holds without being rigid. Some sessions move with you, some are placed where the practitioner reads the most return.
Day 1
Arriving in Yourself
Your Wellness Advisor sits with you for the opening consultation - an hour, sometimes longer. What you have been carrying? What the body has been asking for? What the week can address? For many women, it is the first time anyone has asked properly.
Day 2
Settling the System
The studio opens at seven. Mat Pilates, Morning Yoga Flow, Yin Yoga, or Tai Chi. Stretch at eleven. Lunch at Sarato; Marma Point Therapy in the afternoon. Pranayama at six. Better Sleep at eight. The body begins to remember what rest feels like.
Day 3
The Balancing Ritual
By the third morning, the routine has settled. The seven o'clock class no longer feels like a start, more a continuation. Stretch at eleven, lunch close to one. The Balancing Ritual sits in the late morning. Ninety minutes. Aromatherapy foot baths, breathwork, Cold Stone Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage in sequence. In the afternoon, Shirodhara. Ninety minutes of warm medicated oil at the third-eye point. For the mind that hasn't stopped in a very long time. The Yasmeen Night Garden after dinner. The jasmine opens only after dark.
Day 4
Cooling and Clearing
The morning is softer. Detoxifying Balneotherapy - thirty minutes of underwater jets and essential oils. Therapeutic Lymphatic Drainage follows. The mid-week resident-clinician check-in: pulse, tone, any shifts in the hormonal health markers since day one. The body is listened to again. Hydrothermal circuit in the late afternoon.
Day 5
Bodies in Motion
Mat Pilates or Yin Yoga at seven, paced to the track. Ten o'clock Aqua. Stretch at eleven. Watsu in the afternoon. Sixty minutes of passive water therapy. For women who have been holding themselves together for too long, being held by the water is a different thing entirely.
Day 6
Sound and Stillness
Sound Healing Therapy at the Sonorium - sixty minutes of singing bowls, gongs, chimes. The vibrations move through the body. The nervous system settles. The flotation pool through the afternoon. The Stonecrop Maze if the body is asking for slow movement. The Yasmeen Night Garden after.
Day 7
Walking Out Renewed
The day moves loose. The seven o'clock class is there if you want it. Some women take it as the close of the week. Others walk the coastline through the cooler hour. The final Wellness Advisor session closes with a one-page brief, the two practices that carry forward, the home kitchen adjustments suited to the cycle. Most women say the hardest part is leaving.
Beyond the seven-night canonical tier
How the rhythm flexes
Four nights to Explore. Seven to Absorb. Ten to Immerse. Fourteen to Commit. The Balancing Ritual anchors every tier. The depth of the work - and what the body can release - compounds with the length of stay. The Wellness Advisor confirms the right tier at pre-arrival.
In residence
Practitioners in Residence
Resident-clinicians hold hormonal health and wellness assessments from day one, revisiting at the closing conversation. Diagnostics include blood-pressure monitoring and HRV biofeedback. Where the assessment surfaces a deeper need, Visiting Practitioners in residence carry the relevant specialism. Women are not given a generic clinical experience here.
Departure framing
Most women leave with a one-page brief. Two breath practices. Two evening sleep tools. The kitchen adjustments that suit the cycle they're in. The Wellness Advisor stays reachable through the weeks after departure. The work doesn't end at checkout. That's the point of it.
