Morning Movement
Mat Pilates · Morning Yoga Flow · Yin Yoga · Tai Chi
The early hour, the quiet one of the day. Both a centred body and a centred mind.
Preparing your experience
Twenty-two classes run across the week, from sunrise yoga to sound healing after dark. The sessions are open to all guests in residence; no booking, no extra fee. The schedule shifts where it needs to: an activity might not be available because somebody goes on leave or gets pregnant. We tell you what's running on the day.
A note on time
We don't need a timeline. The classes change. The instructors change. The same Yin Yoga session won't be the same in June as in March. What stays steady: a morning movement window, a stretch class at the middle of the day, an afternoon strength session, and an evening meditation. The names are listed below; the times are confirmed at the front desk on arrival.
Daily movement, breath, and recovery blocks. Times confirm at the desk each morning.
The early hour, the quiet one of the day. Both a centred body and a centred mind.
Low-impact strength and conditioning across the wellness pools.
The Stretch Class at midday is a property anchor. Held every day; it will always be there.
Seven rotating sessions across the afternoon block. Loading, conditioning, and conditioning play.
The evening softens. Breath and meditation hold the practice through the close of the day.
The last sessions before sleep. Ground-down rhythms and the night sky.
The Adults Daily Activity Calendar runs twenty-two named classes across the week: yoga, tai chi, breath, meditation, dance, sound, somatic work and outdoor practice. Each class is open to retreat guests and residents.
Children have their own programme, run by the Family team across the Growing Studios. Five daily slots, forty minutes each, across five age bands. Activities rotate; thirty-five sessions across the week. The universal Family slot at the late afternoon brings parents and children together.
Sensory play, calm rhythms, parent-paired sessions.
Movement, music, and small-group exploration.
Skill-building, projects, and group games.
Studio space, VR treadmills, longer-format projects.
Parents and children together; everyone welcome.
The Children's Calendar runs in parallel: thirty-five activities across five daily slots and seven days, with a universal sixteen-hundred to seventeen-hundred Family slot every day. Activity duration is forty minutes, designed to fit alongside adult programmes. Children's activities are tagged across thirty skill-development categories spanning physical, social, cognitive and creative growth.
The schedule for your stay is confirmed at the front desk on arrival and refreshed daily. Visiting Practitioners run additional sessions during their residencies; those appear on the calendar for the dates they're with us.

Where
Adults practise across the Health and Wellness Centre, the gardens, the pool deck, and the open studios. The Children's programme runs through the four Growing Studios at the Family side, plus Buttercup Playground, Pool Play, and Sand Play. Watersports launch from the Beach Hut.
When a Visiting Practitioner is in residence, the schedule expands. Past sessions have included sound healing intensives, breath workshops, and partner-yoga clinics. Check the Specialists page for the upcoming residency window.
Questions
Twenty-two adult classes and thirty-five children's activities across the week, grouped into yoga, breath, dance, sound, aqua, meditation, strength, stretch, Pilates, and Tai Chi. The exact schedule shifts; we confirm it daily.
No. Group activities are open to all guests in residence; no booking, no extra fee. Capacity is generous; if a session is full at the door, the next one is on the same week's calendar.
The Family slot in the late afternoon is designed for parents and children together. Outside that, adults practise in adult sessions and children practise in age-banded sessions. Some Visiting Practitioners run cross-age workshops; these are flagged on the calendar.
Most sessions take all levels. The instructor sets the day's intensity from who turns up. Tell them at the start if you're new to a practice; they'll cue accordingly.
Group activities are held across the Jayasom Wellness Resort at AMAALA on the Red Sea, Triple Bay, Saudi Arabia. One hour by car from Al Wajh airport.
