Executive retreat · Jayasom AMAALA
Lead with Clarity, As a Leader
As a Leader supports clarity, tenacity, and the mentoring abilities that unlock full leadership potential. Built for individuals and C-suite teams, the retreat shapes a thorough programme of wellness practice around the questions you arrive carrying.
A meaningful digital detox grounds the stay; a dedicated space for reflection runs through the days. Mind-body practices sit alongside personalised therapies and leadership-focused mentoring. Restorative treatments support physical, emotional, and cognitive performance, so leaders return focused, resilient, and ready to inspire.
The work is paced to where you are now and the role you carry. Your Wellness Advisor holds the programme from the pre-arrival conversation through to the closing day.

Executive Wellness Retreat at Jayasom AMAALA
Featured Treatments
Seven nights away from the office is not the same as seven nights' rest. The retreat is engineered for the difference. Decision-rhythm comes back when the inputs change; that's the architecture's first move. Stretch at eleven is the morning. The Neuro Nourish menu sits across all three meals on request. Hydrothermal facilities are open through the day. Protected reflection windows are woven into the timetable. The digital detox cadence is set at the pre-arrival call. The three programme tracks (Executive Recovery, Clarity and Decision, Performance Optimisation) shift pacing within that frame. Tier counts: Explore eleven, Absorb eighteen, Immerse twenty-five, Commit thirty-five. The work compounds the longer you stay.
Wellness Mentoring Consultation, Leadership
A goal-oriented session integrating evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and HeartMath techniques. The leadership variant focuses on decision-rhythm under load and the discipline of clarity that high-stakes work depends on.
Shirodhara
The classic Ayurvedic Mind Calm. Warm medicated oil pours in a continuous stream over the third-eye point on the forehead, dissolving mental chatter and easing nervous-system load. Frequently chosen by leaders carrying decision fatigue or sleep disruption from intensive cycles.
Marma Point Therapy
The Vitality Booster. A focused energy treatment targeting one hundred and seven Marma points, the junctions where matter and consciousness meet in Ayurvedic teaching. Applied with gentle pressure and essential oils, it works the points connected to mental clarity and stamina.
Heart-Focused Breathing & Biofeedback
A heart-focused breathwork protocol paired with biofeedback. The session reads heart-rate variability and uses the data to inform nervous-system pacing across the stay. Leaders use the protocol to recalibrate stress response between high-stakes cycles.
Pinda Sweda (Ayurvedic Herbal Compress)
A therapeutic treatment for joint and muscle relief. Warm linen bags filled with medicinal herbs and rice are dipped in heated oil and worked across the body. Particularly effective for desk-bound stiffness and the muscular signature of long flights.
Pranayama
The Ayurvedic practice of controlled breathing. Guided breathwork slows the heart rate and settles the nervous system into the kind of spacious mental quiet that decision-making depends on.
Watsu, Aquatic Therapy
Passive water therapy in a warm pool. The therapist gently stretches and mobilises the body to release tension and ease discomfort. Particularly relevant for leaders carrying chronic muscular tension from the desk or accumulated travel load.
Deep Tissue Massage
Targeted bodywork that breaks down scar tissue and fibrous connective tissue to improve blood flow and reduce pain. A course of three sessions across the stay provides the strongest result.
The approach
Methodology, distinction, assessment
The work draws on the Wellness Wisdom® pillar of the Jayasom system. Beneath that sits the Ground Wellbeing practice, the named treatment system through which the work happens. Threaded through both is Traditional Arabic Medicine (TAIM, also known as Tibb), the regional heritage that anchors Jayasom's clinical approach in the Kingdom. This combination, TAIM heritage clinical practice integrated with contemporary evidence-based methods (CBT, NLP, HeartMath, HRV biofeedback), is the operating intersection that distinguishes Jayasom in the Kingdom and the wider region.
The methodology recognises that leaders arrive carrying different loads at different cycles; the same body needs different support at each. Clinical assessment opens every stay, run as a one-to-one consultation with the resident-clinician on day one and revisited at the closing conversation. Around that assessment, the daily rhythm of bodywork, movement, and rest is calibrated to where you are now and the demands you are returning to. A meaningful digital detox runs across the days, with protected reflection windows built into the timetable.
Signature consultation
Wellness Mentoring, Leadership
The Wellness Mentoring Consultation, Leadership variant is the named hero of the As a Leader tier. Sixty minutes. The session integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and HeartMath, applied to the questions leaders carry into the room. Decision rhythm sits at the centre, with mentoring quality and the discipline of clarity under pressure shaping the conversation around it.
Frequency across the stay is set by the Wellness Advisor during the pre-arrival call. The session runs once at the four-night Explore tier; twice at ten nights; three times at fourteen nights as a recurring conversation that shapes the programme.
The setting
The Setting at AMAALA
Jayasom AMAALA sits on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, within the Triple Bay master plan being developed by Red Sea Global. The architecture is drawn to recede in the right places. Buildings sit low against the coastline; sea breeze moves before mechanical cooling; materials are local where the climate allows them.
For As a Pair guests, the relevant zone is Jayana, the adults retreat area at the southern end of Triple Bay. Three couples-relevant points of the property thread through the stay.
The Yasmeen Night Garden takes its name from the jasmine that opens only after dark. The garden sits at the foot of the Wellness Plateau and is reached through a moon gate, where reclining loungers angle towards the night sky and the path of the moon. Lighting in the area is reduced for celestial observation; bushes planted nearby enrich the air with evening fragrance.
The standard accommodation is the Jayana Pavilion King: balcony, lounge chairs, plunge pool, Coco-mat™ natural mattress (latex, coconut fibre, horse hair, cactus fibre, seaweed, knitted cotton), Oud-custom amenities. A Superior Deluxe Suite is available with both indoor and outdoor shower and bathtub. Each room is set up around the partners' stated preferences. Sixty villas plus twenty-four private residences hold the property; phase one is a small property by destination-resort scale, and the daily wellness rhythm is sized to the cohort, not to the building.
Three named tracks
Programme by Leadership Phase
The programme adjusts to the cycle you arrive in. Three named tracks hold the structure; your Wellness Advisor selects the right combination at the pre-arrival conversation.
Executive Recovery Track
For leaders arriving from intensive cycles, board seasons, or transition moments. The Wellness Mentoring Consultation Leadership sits at the centre. Shirodhara, Pinda Sweda, and the Sleep Ritual support recovery; Heart-Focused Breathing and Biofeedback recalibrates the nervous system; Pranayama and Meditation hold the daily breath work. Movement runs measured: Tai Chi, Somatic Stretch, Personal Training calibrated to the energy you arrive with.
Clarity and Decision Track
For leaders preparing for major decisions or high-cognitive-load periods ahead, with transitions often layered through both. Marma Point Therapy and Shirodhara anchor the cognitive-clarity layer; Heart-Focused Breathing and Biofeedback delivers measurable nervous-system data; Watsu and Far Infrared Therapy support the deeper recovery. Movement adds intensity: Kick Boxing, Super Stretch, Gyrotonic.
Performance Optimisation Track
For leaders extending peak capacity over longer cycles. Daily Treatments rotate through the named bodywork roster (Deep Tissue, Marma Point, Foot Reflexology, Thai Traditional Massage). Personal Training and Neurac Method work the physical layer. The Nutrition & Lifestyle Consultation anchors fuelling and recovery through the stay.
STAY STRUCTURE
Stay length shapes the work
Stay length shapes the depth of the work. Four tier names hold the structure: four nights to Explore, seven nights to Absorb, ten nights to Immerse, fourteen nights to Commit. The pacing matches the tier; nothing across the stay is added because of the calendar.
What each tier holds, in plain terms. Explore at four nights resets the rhythm around a short decompression or board-aligned visit. By seven nights, Absorb sees a full habit-cycle take hold. Immerse adds the depth where leadership work begins to compound. The fourteen-night Commit tier is for leaders wanting the full arc, with practitioner relationships built across the stay and the Wellness Mentoring Consultation running as a recurring conversation.
Your Wellness Advisor will recommend a tier during the pre-arrival conversation.

Programme inclusions
What's Included
Every retreat tier carries a baseline of inclusions across stays. Three wellness cuisine meals per night come through Saratô and the adult-side venues. Cross-venue Healing Menus rotate through the days for guests on the Executive Recovery and Clarity tracks; the Neuro Nourish menu (omega-3s, antioxidants, adaptogens) supports the cognitive-clarity layer through the stay.
Hydrothermal facilities are accessible through the day, including infrared sauna, vitality pools at varying temperatures, steam, and the flotation pool. Daily fitness and movement classes run from morning to evening; the eleven o'clock Stretch Class is a property anchor and runs every day.
The Wellness Mentoring Consultation Leadership runs once at the four-night Explore tier and three times at the fourteen-night Commit. The Nutrition & Lifestyle Consultation runs at the ten-night Immerse and fourteen-night Commit tiers. Daily Treatments scale across tiers: two at Explore, five at Absorb, seven at Immerse, ten at Commit.
Protected reflection windows are built into the daily schedule, supporting the digital detox that the programme is built around.
In residence
Practitioners in Residence
Resident-clinicians hold the medical and clinical layer of the programme. Hormonal and clinical assessments run on day one and revisit at the closing conversation. Diagnostics available include blood-panel testing, food-intolerance testing, and Heart-Focused Breathing and Biofeedback (the heart-rate variability protocol that informs nervous-system pacing across the stay).
Three named consultation pathways sit alongside the standard assessment: Traditional Arabic and Islamic Medicine; Naturopathic; and Ayurvedic. Each pathway is matched to where you are and the questions you arrive carrying.
The Wellness Advisor holds the programme across the consultation team, from pre-arrival through to closing. Visiting Practitioners rotate in season for specialist tracks. Recent rotations have included integrative therapists and executive coaches; the roster shifts seasonally and the current cohort is shared at the pre-arrival call.
Hands-on therapists run the bodywork tracks.
Wellness Residences pathway
Beyond the retreat tiers
For leaders wanting their own kitchen, additional bedrooms, or longer cycles than the wellness destination tiers hold, the Residences offering is available. Twenty-four private residences sit alongside Jayasom AMAALA, in two-, three-, and four-bedroom configurations. The wellness rhythm is the same; the privacy depth is greater.
The Residences pathway suits team-based bookings, where a C-suite group books across rooms and the Wellness Advisor coordinates the programme across the cohort. Family bookings on Leader stays are handled through coordinated As a Family programming for partners and children.
