Couples wellness retreat at Jayasom Amaala
Featured Treatments
Pair with immersive rituals and bodywork — curated for two, and shaped around what you need on the day.
Qalbain (Two Hearts)
A two-hour ritual designed for couples. Begins with a Grounding Ritual that releases external pressure, followed by a BIOME Facial that restores skin health. The ritual closes with a shared pause where breath, attention, and presence align.
Crystal Aroma Massage
Crystal healing meets aromatherapy. Heated Jade crystals trace long, slow strokes across the muscles, paired with Arabic-inspired essential oils.
Couples Wellness Counselling
A structured session that integrates Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and HeartMath techniques. The work is on relational patterns, communication, emotional regulation, and the practical skills that sustain partnership. Returns through the longer-tier stays as a recurring conversation.
Chakra Balancing Therapy
Tibetan singing bowls bring the nervous system into stillness while warm herbal oils ease the muscles. Both partners book together; the room holds two therapists.
Sound Bath Meditation
Singing bowls, gongs, and chimes. The vibrations slow the heart rate and quiet the mind, letting both partners drop into the same rhythm together.
Floatation Therapy
Warm mineral-rich water supports the body and removes the load of gravity. Two flotation pools sit side by side; both partners take it together.

OVERVIEW
Two People, One Intention
The As a Pair retreat is shaped around the intention each pair brings. For some couples, that intention is celebrating a long-held bond. For others, it is finding a way back into a connection the everyday has worn thin. Either register fits the As a Pair frame; the Wellness Advisor sets the programme around the pair's stated direction at the pre-arrival conversation.
From the methodology, six directions hold the work for couples:
SIX DIRECTIONS
- Relax and renew together.
- Deepen your love and connection.
- Relate to each other in new ways.
- Build trust and commitment further, communicate better.
- Explore healthier relationship dynamics.
- Rejuvenate your intimate moments.
These directions surface across the stay through small decisions: a shared treatment one day, a paired sunrise class on another, slower meals through the week, the counselling conversation drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and HeartMath techniques. Couples who come for one of the six often find another moves to the centre by mid-stay; the programme is light enough to follow them.
The Wellness Advisor holds the brief through the days. Visiting Practitioners arrive in residence at intervals through the year. Where one of them aligns with what the assessment surfaces for either partner, the relevant work moves to them for that stay.

Daily rhythm
Your Days Together
The shape of a day is set the morning you arrive. Your Wellness Advisor reads the pre-arrival questionnaire, listens to where each partner is on the day, and assembles the programme from there.
Mornings open at the studio: Mat Pilates, Morning Yoga Flow, Yin Yoga, or Tai Chi by mood. The eleven o'clock Stretch Class anchors every day. Lunch is unhurried at Saratô on the Jayana side or lighter at Chia Bite near the wellness centre. Afternoons hold the booked treatments. Evenings shift gentler. A Pranayama or Singing Bowl Meditation slot at six. A slow dinner at Saratô or Jiraka, the beef-free spice-route specialty kitchen. Night practices like Candlelight Meditation or Better Sleep Class stay open for those out longer.
Three meals from the kitchen each day. The room is set up around your preferences: aroma, pillow choice from the seven on the menu, Coco-mat™ natural mattress. Pacing is part of the practice.
The setting
The Setting at AMAALA
Jayasom AMAALA sits on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, within the Triple Bay master plan being developed by Red Sea Global. The architecture is drawn to recede in the right places. Buildings sit low against the coastline; sea breeze moves before mechanical cooling; materials are local where the climate allows them.
For As a Pair guests, the relevant zone is Jayana, the adults retreat area at the southern end of Triple Bay. Three couples-relevant points of the property thread through the stay.
The Yasmeen Night Garden takes its name from the jasmine that opens only after dark. The garden sits at the foot of the Wellness Plateau and is reached through a moon gate, where reclining loungers angle towards the night sky and the path of the moon. Lighting in the area is reduced for celestial observation; bushes planted nearby enrich the air with evening fragrance.
The standard accommodation is the Jayana Pavilion King: balcony, lounge chairs, plunge pool, Coco-mat™ natural mattress (latex, coconut fibre, horse hair, cactus fibre, seaweed, knitted cotton), Oud-custom amenities. A Superior Deluxe Suite is available with both indoor and outdoor shower and bathtub. Each room is set up around the partners' stated preferences. Sixty villas plus twenty-four private residences hold the property; phase one is a small property by destination-resort scale, and the daily wellness rhythm is sized to the cohort, not to the building.

FOR TWO
Sessions and rituals shaped for two
Across the As a Pair retreat, several treatments and sessions are designed for a couple to take together. This list sits alongside the daily 60-minute treatment menu and the wellness classes; it adds depth at the moments where the practice asks for both of you in the same room.
Express Hammam Ritual
A shorter version of the traditional Arabic hammam. Both partners take it in the same suite.
Couples Wellness Counselling
Cognitive Behavioural, Neuro-Linguistic, and HeartMath techniques brought to relational work.
Cooking class with the Nakeha Studio chef
Hands-on session at Nakeha Studio. The kitchen's research on which foods support which conditions runs continuously; this class is the way that work meets the guest.
Couples movement series
Yoga, Pilates (Reformer or Mat), and Super Stretch sessions paced to take together. Four-night stays anchor on Yoga; 14-night stays include all three.
In residence
Practitioners in Residence
Visiting Practitioners arrive at Jayasom in residence, for weeks at a time, through the year. Each is chosen for the depth of practice they carry. The teaching arrives with them and stays in the practice once they have left.
Through any As a Pair stay, the practitioners in residence are surfaced in the consultation. Where one of them aligns with what the assessment reveals for either partner, the relevant work moves to them for that stay. Couples often book treatment slots in parallel rather than alone.
The Wellness Advisor flags fits at the consultation. Visiting Practitioner work layers into the daily rhythm of the property; it deepens the brief where the assessment indicates alignment.
After departure
Beyond the Stay
The work asked at Jayasom does not finish at checkout. Through any As a Pair stay, a continuity plan is built with the Wellness Advisor for what carries into the months after. The plan is light. Its job is to keep one or two of the practices, paced for daily life, after the property's rhythm is no longer holding them.
A Wellness Residences pathway runs alongside, for couples whose practice asks for an annual or seasonal home at the property. Twenty-four branded villas hold the same brief as the wider property, brought into private ownership. The Residences sit privately spaced amid gardens, directly on the beach. The Jayasom Longevity Assessment Programme runs across seven components annually for residence owners, supported by the same Wellness Advisor who shapes the retreat stay. The pathway carries continuity that scales beyond any single visit.
Day by day
A typical seven-night stay
What follows shows a typical seven-night stay. The structure flexes around what the questionnaire and the Wellness Advisor shape in the days before; what holds across every retreat is the eleven o'clock Stretch Class, three meals from the kitchen, the hydrothermal facilities accessible throughout, and the rhythm of one daily treatment plus one or two booked sessions. Four-night stays compress the named treatments to eleven; ten and fourteen-night stays expand to twenty-five and thirty-five.
Day 1
Arriving Together
Arrival is timed for early afternoon; the Jayana Pavilion King is ready by three. Rooms are set up before you walk in, around your booking-form preferences: a chosen aroma (Calming Lavender or Spirited Rosemary), a chosen pillow from the seven on the menu, and the Coco-mat™ natural mattress. Welcome amenities sit on the table: fruit juice, tea, water, fruit, snacks.
Within the hour your Wellness Advisor sits down with both of you. The questionnaire you completed in the weeks before is already read. The conversation reviews where each partner is on the day and confirms goals from the six directions in the methodology. From there, your Wellness Advisor shapes the programme that begins at the first treatment slot tomorrow. The questions reach further than a standard arrival intake.
Dinner is the first meal of the stay. The kitchen serves it slowly at the table, paced through the evening. After dinner, the calendar offers a Singing Bowl Meditation around six. Late-evening practices follow at eight: Candlelight Meditation or a Star Gazing session in the Yasmeen Night Garden. Both stay open invitations on the day.
Day 2
Finding the Day's Rhythm
The day begins at the studio. The seven o'clock class on Day 2 is whatever the calendar holds for that day of the week: Mat Pilates, Yin Yoga, Tai Chi, or Morning Yoga Flow. Both partners attend; the early hour is the quiet one of the day.
The Stretch Class at eleven is a property anchor and runs every day of the week. Lunch is unhurried at one; the kitchen leans toward what the Farm Belt holds and minimises gluten, refined sugars, salt, and coffee.
The first booked treatment lands in the afternoon. For most pairs this is the Postural Corrective Therapy session, sixty minutes, run by the physiotherapy team. The work covers physical analysis and corrective movement pacing. What the practitioner finds informs the Wellness Advisor's pacing for the rest of the week.
By late afternoon the property quietens. A Pranayama or Singing Bowl Meditation slot at six is open to anyone who wants it. Dinner runs slow again. A Better Sleep Class at eight is available; the daily rhythm builds toward recovery.
Day 3
Conversation in the Room
By day three, the rhythm holds: morning class at seven, the eleven o'clock Stretch, slow lunch by one.
The afternoon belongs to the Couples Wellness Counselling. Sixty minutes, in a private consultation room. The methodology integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and HeartMath techniques. The work focuses on communication patterns and emotional regulation, plus the practical skills that sustain partnership through the years it asks for. What surfaces in that hour shapes the questions the Wellness Advisor brings to the next consultation.
The Express Hammam Ritual follows in the late afternoon. Sixty minutes, in the same suite for both partners. The body softens in time for the evening.
The evening Singing Bowl Meditation at six is open to those who want it. Some pairs walk the Stonecrop Maze on the Wellness Plateau afterwards. Walking is paced slowly, with attention on each step; the centre of the maze marks a pause for reflection.
Dinner runs late on day three.
Day 4
Two Hearts in Practice
Day four is the longest in the calendar. The Couple's Connect Spa Ritual fills two hours of the morning.
The ritual begins with a Grounding Ritual, designed to release the external pressure both partners arrived carrying. A BIOME Facial follows, working with the skin's microbiome layer. The closing twenty minutes are a shared pause without instruction. Both partners come out of the ritual into the same quiet.
Lunch is light, and the afternoon pacing draws back; only the daily 60-minute treatment from the menu runs at three. By late afternoon the body wants stillness. The flotation pools are open through the day for those who want them.
The evening turns active again. A Cooking class at Nakeha Studio runs from six. Both partners join; the chef leads the session through what the Farm Belt grew that morning. The studio's research on what foods support what conditions runs continuously, and the class sits inside that practice. Dinner is what you cooked.
The day closes with the Yasmeen Night Garden in its scent-only evening hours.
Day 5
Bodies in Motion
The day shifts toward movement. The morning class at seven is more active than mid-week: Tai Chi or a longer Pilates session, depending on the calendar. Both partners attend.
Breakfast follows. The ten o'clock aqua slot (Aqua Boxing, Aqua Hand Buoy, or Aqua with Pool Noodle depending on the day) runs in the pool for those who want a low-impact mid-morning. Stretch at eleven anchors the morning.
Personal Training fills late morning. Sixty minutes, paired session, the trainer working from the physical analysis on file. Couples can run this collaboratively; the practitioner adjusts the loading per partner.
After lunch, the day's treatment from the seven-treatment menu runs. Foot Reflexology suits the day's pacing, though Jayasom Signature Massage and Abhyanga both fit.
By mid-afternoon the body asks for slower pacing. A Pilates Reformer or Mat session at four runs light. The four o'clock high-intensity slot (HIIT, TRX, Tabata, Circuit Training, Zumba, Step Aerobics, or Boot Camp depending on the day) stays open on the calendar for partners wanting a longer fitness ribbon. Evening Pranayama at six follows.
Dinner sits longer than usual. Recovery work begins tomorrow.
Day 6
Stillness Together
Day six runs quiet, with the morning class drawn from the softer end of the calendar: Yin Yoga, Tai Chi, or Morning Yoga Flow. Stretch at eleven.
Two treatments anchor the afternoon. Sound Healing Therapy at one o'clock, with singing bowls, gongs, and chimes, placed somewhere quiet on the property. Sixty minutes, eyes closed, body still on the mat. The vibrations bring the nervous system into stillness. Both partners take it in the same room.
Floatation Therapy follows. Two pools side by side. Sixty minutes of warm mineral-rich water removing the load of gravity. The body comes out lighter and slower than it went in.
Crystal Aroma Massage runs late in the afternoon for those who want it; sixty or ninety minutes, the heated Jade crystals working the muscles with Arabic-inspired oils.
The six o'clock evening slot on day six holds Aerial Yoga or Floating Meditation, depending on the day. Dinner is the slowest of the week. By eight, both partners are usually in the room. A Better Sleep Class is available for those still awake at the studio.
Day 7
Walking Out Together
The seventh day is paced for departure. The morning class at seven is optional; you can skip it and walk along the coastline instead.
Breakfast runs as usual. The Stretch Class at eleven holds, even on the departure day; some pairs choose to take it as the closing gesture of the week.
The Nutrition and Lifestyle Consultation runs late morning if it has not happened earlier in the stay. Sixty minutes; food, sleep, and routine are the conversation. Whatever the consultation surfaces carries forward into the continuity plan.
A final Wellness Advisor session runs from noon to one. Continuity is the conversation: which practices to keep at home and at what pace, plus any timing for a return stay. Together, the Advisor and both partners shape a plan that fits the calendar after departure. The plan is light. Its job is to keep one or two of the practices running at home.
Lunch is the closing meal. Twelve noon checkout follows. Transfer to Al Wajh, NEOM Bay, or Red Sea International airport is arranged from the form filled in on Day 1.
You leave the room as you found it, with a brief that is different from the one you arrived with.
Beyond the seven-night canonical tier
How the rhythm flexes across stay lengths
Four-night As a Pair stays compress this rhythm. The Couples Wellness Counselling and the Couple's Connect Spa Ritual remain anchors; Crystal Aroma Massage, Floatation Therapy, Pilates, and the Cooking class compress out, and the Daily Treatment count drops to three.
Ten-night and fourteen-night stays expand the calendar. The Couples Wellness Counselling returns through the longer stays as a recurring conversation, twice at ten nights and three times at fourteen. The Couple's Connect Spa Ritual runs twice in both longer tiers. Watsu, Bootcamp, and Super Stretch enter the calendar at ten nights. Pranayama, Meditation, Detoxifying Balneotherapy, Aquabiking, and Gyrotonic® come in at fourteen.
Across all four tiers, the pacing remains steady. Partners stay paired through the work, and the Wellness Advisor remains the constant point of contact.
