Return to Yourself, As a Woman
As a Woman is a dedicated space to pause, restore, and arrive at a clearer sense of where you are. Personalised hormonal and wellness assessments shape practical tools for each life-stage transition. Restorative bodywork sits alongside nutrition and fitness guidance, with therapeutic and mindfulness practices threaded across the days.
The work is paced to where you are now. Your Wellness Advisor holds the programme from the pre-arrival conversation through to the closing day.

Featured treatments
Eight rituals for the work
Eight named treatments anchor the As a Woman programme. Each is paced to where you are; each is ordered by your Wellness Advisor at the pre-arrival call and adjusted as the stay unfolds.
The Balancing Ritual
A whole-body approach to hormonal change. Aromatherapy foot baths, breathwork, Cold Stone Therapy, and Lymphatic Drainage work together to ease the physical signature of perimenopause and menopause and bring the body back into balance. The hero ritual at the centre of the work.
Shirodhara
The classic Ayurvedic Mind Calm. Warm medicated oil pours in a continuous stream over the third-eye point on the forehead, dissolving mental chatter and easing nervous-system load. Frequently chosen by women navigating sleep disruption and anxious thinking through hormonal shifts.
NEW Mum, Blessing of Becoming
A restorative postnatal ritual that honours the transition into motherhood. Gentle realignment, soothing of tired muscles, and the emotional holding new mothers need.
The Comforting Ritual (Pregnancy)
Designed specifically for prenatal recovery. Hands-on therapy releases the physical strains of pregnancy while creating a calm, safe space for the mother-to-be to settle into the body's changes.
Marma Point Therapy
Designed specifically for prenatal recovery. Hands-on therapy releases the physical strains of pregnancy while creating a calm, safe space for the mother-to-be to settle into the body's changes.
Sound Healing Therapy
Singing bowls, gongs, and chimes work together at the Sonorium. Vibrations move through the body, promoting deep relaxation and helping the nervous system settle. Frequently selected by women pairing the treatment with a Pranayama or Meditation slot in the same day.
Detoxifying Balneotherapy
Underwater jets paired with essential oils stimulate circulation, boost lymphatic flow, and support the body's detoxification pathways. The treatment draws on an ancient ritual of meeting the body with the power of the ocean.
Watsu
Passive water therapy in a warm pool. The therapist gently stretches and mobilises the body to release tension, ease discomfort, and restore the breath. Particularly relevant for women carrying chronic muscular tension or recovering from a stressful season.
The approach
A methodology anchored in regional heritage
The work draws on the Wellness Wisdom® pillar of the Jayasom system. Beneath that sits the Ground Wellbeing practice, the named treatment system through which the work happens. Threaded through both is Traditional Arabic Medicine (TAIM, also known as Tibb), the regional heritage that anchors Jayasom's clinical approach in the Kingdom. The methodology recognises that a woman's body changes across the seasons it moves through; the same body needs different support at each.
Hormonal and life-stage assessment opens every stay, run as a one-to-one consultation with the resident-clinician on day one and revisited at the closing conversation. Around that assessment, the daily rhythm of bodywork, movement, and rest is calibrated to where you are now and the energy you arrive with. Cultural fluency runs through the property: privacy and cultural respect operate as daily standards, with gender sensitivity built into how the timetable is shaped.
Signature ritual
The Balancing Ritual
The Balancing Ritual is the named hero treatment of this retreat. Duration 90 minutes. Aromatherapy foot baths, breathwork, Cold Stone Therapy, and Lymphatic Drainage work in sequence to address the physical signature of hormonal change. The ritual is rooted in Ground Wellbeing practice, with breath and touch leading the work back into the body.
Frequency across the stay is set by the Wellness Advisor during the pre-arrival call.

The setting
A property sized for the practice
Jayasom AMAALA sits within the Triple Bay master plan on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast. The property holds sixty villas plus twenty-four private residences. Phase one is intentionally small by wellness destination scale; the daily rhythm is sized to the cohort, not to the building. Triple Bay is part of the AMAALA destination, a regional flagship for women's wellness in the Kingdom.
Yasmeen Night Garden runs in scent-only mode through the evening hours, designed for slow walking. Our Stonecrop Maze sits on the Wellness Plateau and is open through the late afternoon. The Phoenix Garden holds private daytime rest and Sound Healing Therapy runs at the Sonorium. Within the Jayana zone, the As a Woman programme operates with adult-side privacy and dedicated quiet hours.
CULTURAL FLUENCY
Privacy and respect, operationally
DAILY STANDARDS
Cultural Fluency runs through the property. Staff training covers Saudi etiquette and respectful discretion, with gender sensitivity built in across the day. Photography is at the guest's discretion. Private entrances and protected schedules are available where requested. Communications stay private through the booking flow; credit-card statements use a discreet entity name; family-shared accounts can be replaced with a private channel for the booking. Women-only therapist preferences are honoured, and women-only timetable blocks for movement and bodywork are scheduled daily during As a Woman cohorts.
Programme by life stage
Three named tracks
The programme adjusts to the season you arrive in. Three named tracks hold the structure; your Wellness Advisor selects the right combination at the pre-arrival conversation.
Track 01
Perimenopause and menopause
The Balancing Ritual sits at the centre. Shirodhara, Marma Point Therapy, and Therapeutic Lymphatic Drainage support the hormonal layer; Cooling protocols and the Detoxifying Balneotherapy address heat and water retention. Nutrition consultations anchor on the Women's Hormonal Health menu (maca root, avocado, pumpkin seed, flax seeds, green tea, and supporting whole foods designed to stabilise hormones, energy, and mood). Movement runs lighter: Mat Pilates, Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, and aqua sessions for low-impact strengthening.
Track 02
Postnatal and prenatal
NEW Mum, Blessing of Becoming and the Comforting Ritual (Pregnancy) anchor the bodywork. The track calibrates around the mother's recovery window; postnatal stays from six weeks onwards are supported with gentle realignment, while prenatal stays follow strict protocols cleared with the resident-clinician. Sleep Ritual sessions support broken-sleep patterns. The Wellness Advisor coordinates with your physician where required.
Track 03
General wellness and reset
For women not in a specific life-stage transition but seeking a deep reset: stress recovery, sleep recalibration, fitness reset, or aesthetic wellness. The Vagus Nerve Ritual anchors stress-system work; the Sleep Ritual addresses insomnia; HIFU, Cristal Fit, and the Hydrafacial Collection sit on the aesthetic side; Personal Training and Yoga structure the movement layer.
STAY STRUCTURE
Stay length shapes the depth of the work
Four tier names hold the structure: four nights to Explore, seven nights to Absorb, ten nights to Immerse, fourteen nights to Commit. The pacing matches your stay and nothing across your experience is added because of the calendar.
What each tier holds, in plain terms. Explore at four nights resets the rhythm around a short stay or visit. By seven nights, Absorb sees a full habit-cycle take hold. Immerse adds the depth where retreat work begins to compound. The fourteen-night Commit tier is for women wanting the full arc, with practitioner relationships built across the stay.
Your Wellness Advisor will recommend a tier during the pre-arrival conversation.

In residence
Practitioners in Residence
Resident-clinicians hold the medical and clinical layer of the programme. Hormonal and wellness assessments are run by the resident-clinician on day one and revisited at the closing conversation. Diagnostics available to the assessment include blood-panel testing, food-intolerance testing, and Heart-Focused Breathing and Biofeedback (a heart-rate variability protocol that informs nervous-system pacing across the stay).
Three named consultation pathways sit alongside the standard assessment: Traditional Arabic and Islamic Medicine (TAIM, drawn from the regional heritage); Naturopathic; and Ayurvedic. Each pathway is matched to where you are and the questions you arrive carrying.
The Wellness Advisor holds the programme across the consultation team, from pre-arrival through to closing. Visiting Practitioners rotate in season for specialist tracks: integrative therapists, somatic practitioners, embodied-practice teachers. The roster shifts; check the current rotation at the pre-arrival call. Women-only therapist preferences are honoured.
Residences pathway
For longer cycles, deeper privacy
For women wanting their own kitchen, additional bedrooms, or longer cycles than the wellness destination tiers hold, the Residences offering is available. Twenty-four private residences sit alongside the main property, in two-, three-, and four-bedroom configurations. The wellness rhythm is the same; the privacy depth is greater.
Residences pathway suits multigenerational stays where a daughter brings her mother, sisters travel together, or a friend group books across rooms. The Wellness Advisor coordinates the programme across the group.
