Pillar 01
Wellness wisdom®
Traditional wisdom, joined by contemporary practice. Functional assessment, physical activity, foods that heal, holistic experiences, shaped around you, the person in front of us, here and now. Together, they breathe life.
Preparing your experience
Wellbeing is a birthright, not a privilege.
What you came for is not a modality. You came because something is asking for attention, sleep that has thinned, energy that no longer settles, a body that won't quite let go. The methods we draw on, traditional and contemporary, sit behind the work like ingredients in a kitchen. Present, traceable, but never the headline. The headline is what you came for.
The philosophy
Traditional wisdom, joined by contemporary practice. Functional assessment, physical activity, foods that heal, holistic experiences, shaped around you, the person in front of us, here and now. Together, they breathe life.
The wellness team's depth runs in two directions. Wellness Advisors hold the day-to-day practice for each guest; Visiting Practitioners arrive in residence for weeks at a time, with fields ranging from Traditional Arabic Medicine and integrative cardiology to recovery science and functional rehabilitation. Each practitioner is selected for the depth of work they bring, not the name attached to it. The teaching arrives with them and stays in the practice once they have left. Fit, rather than novelty, is what every programme is measured against.
Traditional Arabic Medicine and regional heritage integrated with contemporary clinical science.

Pillar 02
Celebrating the culture of local communities connects us to indigenous wellness traditions and honours the vibrancy of our world. This sensibility is at the core of our thinking at Jayasom.
Pillar 03
Our world is under pressure. Personal and planetary health are connected. Renewable energy, water conservation, LEED-certified design, and our sustainability room, the Mosa Hub: small acts, measured and reported.
Most people come to Jayasom not for a modality but for a state. Sleep that has thinned. Energy that no longer settles. A body that won't quite let go. A mind that runs faster than the rest of you can keep up with. The work begins where the body is asking for attention; the methods follow from there.
Disrupted, light, hard to settle into.
Body composition that doesn't shift the way it used to.
Load that no longer leaves on its own.
Running on reserves that won't refill.
Relationship strain or loss of presence with self.
Output that doesn't match input.
Gut signals running uneasy.
Phase, cycle, or transition that needs attention.
Body, mind, spirit
The work at Jayasom rests across three pillars: body, mind, and spirit. They overlap by design. A breath practice settles the body and slows the mind in the same moment. A nutrition decision shapes the body and lifts mood. A walk along the coastline settles all three at once, which is mostly the point.
Modalities sit at Jayasom but never lead. They work behind the practice the way ingredients work behind a meal.
MODALITY
Asana, breath, and stillness sequenced to match load and recovery windows across the week.
MODALITY
Core stability and alignment work that supports posture under training stress and long travel.
MODALITY
Breath protocols that downshift the nervous system before deeper bodywork or sleep.
MODALITY
Slow, patterned movement that builds balance, coordination, and calm focus in the body.
MODALITY
Strength and mobility patterns mapped to what the week is asking for, without chasing load for its own sake.
At the table
The dining table sits within the practice, not beside it. Three healing-menu programmes anchor the work, each tuned to a state: Sports Nutrition for output and recovery, Neuro Nourish for cognitive performance and mood regulation, Gut Healing and Cleansing for digestive reset and detox, and Women's Hormonal Health for cycle, menopause, and hormonal-phase support. The studio's research on what foods support what conditions runs continuously, and the menu adjusts as the assessments and the seasons move.
Daily practice
Each guest is met by a Wellness Advisor who shapes the stay around what the body and mind need on arrival, rather than around a fixed catalogue. Treatments are built on functional assessment and evidence-based wellness science. Healing traditions of the Red Sea coast and the wider region run through every method. Programmes are paced rather than packed. Recommendations land as recommendations, not commitments. The team is human and finite; what is right for a given week shapes around who is in residence and what hours allow.
Visiting practitioners arrive in residencies for work that fits. Their fields range from traditional Arabic medicine and integrative cardiology to recovery science, functional rehabilitation, and psychological care.
Wellness Mentor & Psychological Counsellor; CBT/DBT methodology; Empathetic Presence philosophy.
Psychology + Neuroscience (Columbia); CBT, DBT, ACT methodologies.
Clinical psychology + child development; behaviour therapy and family education.
Manual Therapy + Personal Training (ISSA); rehabilitation, mobility, recovery focus.
76 treatment rooms, 34 studios, 16 consultation rooms, eight dining venues, and the gardens that thread between them.

Therapeutic Pillars at Jayasom hold the work across three frames: body, mind, and spirit. They overlap by design. A breath practice settles the body and slows the mind. A nutrition decision shapes the body and lifts mood. A mentor session names what the body has been carrying. The methods are many; the pillars hold the work together.
